Prepare for your consult with DCS: 3 easy steps
Congratulations — you’re scheduled for a consult with a dental revenue cycle expert on the DCS team. Here’s how to have a productive meeting:
1. Have your camera and microphone ready for Zoom
Most of our meetings happen as Zoom video calls.
Here’s how to prepare:
- Add the Zoom call in your dental software schedule and your cell phone calendar. This will ensure there’s a designated time for the call and nothing else will interfere with it. If you do not want your staff to know about your introductory phone call yet, please be sure to add the meeting information on your cell phone calendar.
- If you’ve never used it, take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with Zoom. You’ll join an online meeting through the email invite, from the Zoom desktop or mobile app.
If you have questions on how to use Zoom, either use the support chat on their website or email your Account Manager ahead of time, and we’ll help you out.
We prefer to meet on Zoom, but if you requested a phone call, we’ll call you at the agreed-upon time.
We look forward to connecting with you!
2. Have your questions ready
Please bring your questions to our meeting.
If you need inspiration, we have a plethora of resources available on our website that cover topics like cost, services, and features.
Find them in our Learning Center:
- Looking for dental business success? Try our innovative RCM services
- What is dental billing? An understanding of how dental billing works
- How much do dental RCM services cost? 3 big questions answered
- 5 benefits of outsourcing dental revenue cycle management: Collect more and support your team
- A Decade with DCS: Dental case studies from our Big 10 Client Club
We recommend you explore each of our services and their features as well.
It’s helpful to familiarize yourself so you can ask more specific questions during the meeting.
Some questions you can expect from us:
- What’s your insurance collections percentage?
- What’s your insurance aging report percentage?
- What are your write-offs and net production numbers?
- What does your current revenue cycle look like?
It’s always best to be transparent about the answers to these kinds of questions so that we can tailor a solution for you, and ensure we deliver the best results.
3. Be ready to communicate your expectations
Please be as transparent as possible about what your expectations of DCS are — and since Transparency is a core value at DCS, we will as well.
We’ll discuss what to expect from our solutions, and when you can anticipate results based on the current state of your business.
We’re looking forward to our meeting with you
Key things to remember:
- Be ready to use Zoom: Have your camera and microphone ready in advance
- Have your questions ready: We recommend writing them down ahead of time!
- Prepare to communicate your expectations and concerns
We’re going to have an honest conversation about the purpose of RCM, what it’s like to work together, and what your goals are.
Having this honest conversation is the beginning of a solid partnership with DCS. Talk to you soon!
